Ingredients:

12 large strawberries, washed and dried
1 cup dark chocolate chips
1 cup milk chocolate chips
12 small pretzels (for the legs)
12 candy eyes (or small chocolate chips)
1/2 cup candy corn (for the feathers)
1/4 cup mini marshmallows (for the beak)
A few tablespoons of white chocolate (for melting and decorating)
Optional: Sprinkles for extra decoration
Instructions:

Prepare the strawberries: Start by washing and thoroughly drying the strawberries. It’s important to remove any moisture so the chocolate will stick well to the fruit.

Melt the chocolate: In two separate heatproof bowls, melt the dark chocolate chips and the milk chocolate chips. You can do this in a double boiler or in the microwave in short intervals, stirring in between until the chocolate is smooth and fully melted.

Dip the strawberries: Take each strawberry by the green stem and dip it first into the dark chocolate to cover the whole strawberry, leaving the tip exposed. Let any excess chocolate drip off before transferring to a parchment-lined tray. For a fun effect, dip the bottom of the strawberry in the milk chocolate to create a “two-tone” look.

Make the turkey feathers: While the chocolate is still soft, immediately place pieces of candy corn around the base of the strawberry to form the turkey’s feathers. The candy corn should stick to the chocolate, creating a fun and colorful tail.

Add the turkey legs: Break the pretzels into smaller pieces and gently press two pieces into the bottom of each strawberry to act as turkey legs.

Decorate the face: Use a small dot of melted white chocolate to attach two candy eyes to the front of each strawberry. Then add a small piece of mini marshmallow for the turkey’s beak. You can use a toothpick to help shape and place the marshmallow for precision.

Let the chocolate set: Allow the chocolate to harden at room temperature or place the tray in the fridge for about 20 minutes to speed up the process.

Serving: Once the chocolate is firm, your chocolate-covered strawberry turkeys are ready to serve!
