2 teaspoons sugar
2-3 garlic cloves, minced
1 teaspoon black peppercorns
2-3 dill sprigs
1 cup vinegar (5% acidity)
1 liter water
For Pickle Soup (using preserved cucumbers):
1 cup preserved cucumbers, diced
2 medium potatoes, diced
1 medium carrot, grated
1 onion, finely chopped
2 tablespoons oil or butter
4 cups vegetable or chicken broth
1 bay leaf
Salt and pepper to taste

Step 1: Preparing Cucumbers for Preservation
Wash cucumbers thoroughly and trim the ends.
Prepare the brine by dissolving salt and sugar in boiled water, then let it cool.
Pack cucumbers tightly into sterilized jars, adding garlic, peppercorns, and dill.
Pour the cooled brine over the cucumbers, ensuring they are fully submerged.
