Roll out the dough:
On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a large rectangle.
Add the toppings:
Spread a thin layer of tomato sauce over the dough, leaving a 2cm border all around. Evenly distribute the shredded mozzarella, pepperoni slices and sprinkle with Parmesan and Italian herbs.
Roll the Stromboli:
Carefully roll the dough starting from one long side into a tight log. Pinch the edges to seal.
Brush and Bake:
Place the roll on a parchment-lined baking sheet, seam side down. Brush with egg wash for a nice golden brown. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, until the Stromboli is golden brown.
Serve:
Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve with marinara sauce for dipping.
