– Chop the onion as desired, finely or into larger pieces.
– In a pot, heat a little olive oil and add the onion.
– Fry the onion until translucent.
– Add the chicken pieces to the pot with the onion.
– Season with salt and pepper to taste and fry the chicken until golden brown on all sides.
– You can use all parts of the chicken or just some, such as the thighs or breast.
– Squeeze the orange juice and add it to the pot with the cup of water.
– Stir well.
– Cook the chicken over medium heat for about 30 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and the sauce has reduced slightly.
– Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the heat and serve hot.
– Serve it with French fries, baked potatoes or green salad.
