Preheat oven: Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.

Cream butter and sugar: In a bowl, beat the margarine or butter and powdered sugar until fluffy.

Add wet ingredients: Add the egg and sunflower oil and mix well.

Add dry ingredients: Stir in wheat starch, vanilla sugar, and baking powder.

Form dough: Gradually add the flour and mix until a dough forms.

Add chocolate: Break the chocolate into small pieces and fold into the dough.

Shape cookies: Roll the dough into small balls and place on the prepared baking tray. Flatten each ball slightly with your palm.

Bake: Bake for 10–12 minutes or until the cookies are lightly golden.

Cool: Remove from the oven and let cool on a wire rack.
