Festive Cranberry and Raisin Twist Bread

For the Glaze:

– 1/2 cup powdered sugar

– 2 tablespoons orange juice or milk

– Optional: extra cranberries or nuts for topping

Instructions:

Prepare the Dough:

In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, salt, and yeast. Mix well.

Add the warm milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract. Mix until the dough comes together.

Knead the dough on a floured surface for 8-10 minutes (or use a stand mixer with a dough hook for 5-7 minutes) until smooth and elastic.

Place the dough in a lightly greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place for 1-2 hours, or until doubled in size.
