Homemade Chocolate and Milk Ice Cream with Peanuts

In a small pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add the roasted peanuts and sugar (if using), and stir until the peanuts are coated and caramelized, about 3-5 minutes.
Remove from heat and let the peanut mixture cool.
6. Churn the Ice Cream:
Once your custard base is chilled, pour it into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions. This usually takes about 20-25 minutes.
7. Add the Peanut Swirl:
During the last few minutes of churning, gently stir in the cooled peanuts or peanut swirl mixture into the ice cream.
8. Freeze:
Once churned, transfer the ice cream into an airtight container and freeze for at least 4 hours to firm up.
9. Serve:
Scoop and enjoy your homemade Chocolate and Milk Ice Cream with Peanuts! You can drizzle more caramelized peanuts on top for extra crunch and flavor.
Tips:
If you don’t have an ice cream maker, you can place the custard in a shallow dish and stir every 30 minutes as it freezes to achieve a creamy texture.
You can also add chocolate chips or chunks of your favorite chocolate bar for extra richness.
Enjoy your creamy, peanut-studded chocolate treat!
