How can you dry laundry quickly in winter if you don’t have a dryer? 6 effective tips

Most people don’t have a dryer to quickly dry clothes fresh from the washing machine. So what do you do when it gets cold or you don’t have time to let your clothes dry on their own?

Here are 6 simple tricks to drastically reduce drying time

1. Start washing:

If your clothes aren’t delicate and you don’t want to damage them, increase the spin cycle. The higher the spin cycle, the more excess water is removed from the fabrics.

2. The towel trick:

This is a very effective trick, especially for clothes that have been washed in the washing machine.

Spread a clean towel (or even two) on a flat surface. Place the garment over it, stretching it well to avoid wrinkles, and then begin rolling the towel around the garment (like a sponge cake rolled up in a Christmas log) so that the towel absorbs most of the moisture.

You can also try placing an additional towel over the garment before rolling it up. Follow the steps a second time with a different dry towel.

3. Ironing:

With this method, you place the garment on a towel over the ironing board, then cover it with another towel (as thin as possible) and iron over it. The towel should absorb all the moisture and heat from the iron to dry the garment, but without directly touching it to avoid damaging it.

4. Place the clothesline in the brightest and least humid place in the house:
