How to make dull faucets look like new again
The third and final tip for cleaning the faucet is the most thorough, as it thoroughly cleans the aerator and thus allows the water to drain more easily.
First, unscrew the aerator and place it in a glass jar. Pour some vinegar and baking soda into it and wait until the effervescing reaction is complete. Then use a toothbrush to thoroughly clean it, rinse it, and dry it.
Then sprinkle baking soda on the faucet and pour vinegar over it.
After two minutes, scrub thoroughly with a toothbrush, then use a clean cloth to remove the residue and dry it.
