If it were up to me, I’d snack on this cheese ball daily.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded cheddar cheese and softened cream cheese. Mix until well blended.
Add the drained crushed pineapple, chopped green bell pepper, chopped onion, and garlic powder to the cheese mixture. Stir until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
Shape the mixture into a ball using your hands. It might help to slightly dampen your hands to prevent sticking.
Spread the chopped pecans or walnuts on a large plate or cutting board.
Roll the cheese ball in the nuts until it is completely covered.
Wrap the cheese ball in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until firm.
Before serving, let the cheese ball sit at room temperature for about 15 minutes to make it easier to spread.

For a spicier version, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or some finely chopped jalapeños to the cheese mixture. If you prefer a different nut, try using almonds or cashews for a unique flavor.
