No-Bake Caramel Apple Cake Recipe

  1. Prepare the Apple Mixture:

    • Melt butter in a medium skillet over medium heat.
    • Add chopped apple, brown sugar, cinnamon, and ground hazelnuts.
    • Cook, stirring frequently, until apples are tender and mixture is caramelized (5-7 minutes).
    • Stir in vanilla extract and cook for 1-2 more minutes.
    • Remove from heat and let cool.
  2. Assemble the Cake:

    • In a 9×13 inch baking dish, layer graham crackers, breaking as needed.
    • Spread a layer of cooled apple mixture over the graham crackers.
    • Repeat the layers, ending with a layer of graham crackers.
  3. Garnish and Chill:

    • Drizzle melted butter over the top layer of graham crackers.
    • Optionally, sprinkle with chopped nuts or caramel pieces.
    • Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
  4. Serve:

    • Slice and enjoy chilled.
