Preserve Apples for Months with This Method! How to Prepare Apple Compote

Prepare 3 500ml glass jars, ensuring they are clean and sterilised.
Place 1 tablespoon of sugar in each jar.
Fill the jars with apples and add drinking water, leaving some space at the top.
If necessary, add more water to fill the jars.
Close the jars with new, clean lids.
Cooking and conservation:

Place a clean cloth in the bottom of a large pot and arrange the jars on top.
Fill the pot with water to cover half the jars.
Bring the water to the boil and, once it reaches the boil, cook over medium heat for 15 minutes.
Leave the jars in the water for 2-3 hours after cooking.
Once cooled, store the jars in the refrigerator or in a cool, dry place.
Serving:

Apple compote can be stored for months and served as a dessert or used in various recipes.
