Probably the best version of this idea I’ve ever made, it’s yummy

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease baking dish.
2. In a skillet, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain any excess fat.
3. Sprinkle the taco seasoning mix and garlic powder over the cooked beef, and mix well to coat the meat with the seasonings.
4. Reduce the heat to low and add the cream cheese and salsa to the beef mixture. Stir until the cream cheese is melted and the ingredients are combined into a creamy filling.
If desired, you can pre-bake the halved peppers in the preheated oven for about 5 minutes to soften them slightly.
5. Stuff each of the halved bell peppers with the creamy beef mixture, distributing it evenly among the peppers.
6. Place the stuffed peppers in a baking dish. Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 25 minutes, or until the peppers are tender and the filling is heated through.
Once cooked, remove the peppers from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving.
