In a microwave-safe bowl, combine:

Microwave on medium power for 1 minute. Stir well.
Continue microwaving in 30-second intervals, stirring after each time, until the chocolate is fully melted and the mixture is smooth. This typically takes 2–3 minutes total.

Once the chocolate mixture is silky and smooth, stir in 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. This enhances the flavor and adds depth to the fudge.

Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper or lightly grease it. Pour the warm fudge mixture into the pan and spread it evenly with a spatula.
