Ingredients:
500g fresh shrimp (cleaned, deveined, and with heads on)
1 liter water or rice washing (hugas bigas)
2 medium tomatoes, quartered
1 medium onion, quartered
1 radish (labanos), sliced thinly
1 cup string beans (sitaw), cut into 2-inch pieces
1 cup kangkong (water spinach) leaves and stalks
1 small eggplant, sliced
2 pieces green chili (optional)
1 pack sinigang mix (tamarind base) or fresh tamarind juice
Salt or fish sauce (patis) to taste
