This is my favorite dessert ever

Nothing quite whispers ‘comfort’ like the scent of spices and apples wafting through your home on a crisp day. It’s that time of year again, when the leaves are just about to turn, and I find myself reaching for that trusty slow cooker to make my all-time favorite: Slow Cooker Apple Cobbler. Originating from the American colonists, cobbler is the laid-back cousin of the pie—no fuss over crust rolling here! Why make it in a slow cooker? Well, besides it welcoming you home to a warm, ready-to-devour dessert, it’s the epitome of simple goodness, matching our busy modern lives with the nostalgia of grandma’s kitchen.
This apple cobbler is a self-contained wonder, but if you want to gild the lily, try a scoop of vanilla ice cream melting over the top, or a dollop of whipped cream with a sprinkle of cinnamon. For a cozier touch, a mug of warm cider or a cup of spiced tea pairs perfectly.
